LobsterFest is the Dads Club biggest and funnest fundraiser. More than 14 pots of lobsters and veggies dumped out in front of ticket holders. No silverware here boys and girls, this is strictly a hands on affair.
Dads in Hawaiian Shirts will be in the middle of the action doing everything from assisting with the cooking, to serving, to bar-tending, to DJing, to working the fog machine (oh yes, the fog is back again this year).
Last year the fund-raising rally point for LobsterFest was the new Big Toy. In addition to making money from tickets and drink sales we had two auction components: kid’s artwork and homegrown items. This year the fund-raising rally point will be art in the classroom, and we will focus on the kid’s artwork auction, leaving the auctioning of “stuff” to BCE’s events.
